Which Graphics Card Should I Choose for Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on graphics cards since I'm not too experienced in this area. I mainly want to play the latest AAA games with decent graphics and good frame rates, along with some strategy and indie games. I'm considering a few budget-friendly options: the RTX 4060, RTX 5060, RX 9060 XT, and Intel Arc B570. Can anyone explain which of these would be best for my needs and what the pros and cons are in simple terms? Thanks a lot!

The RX 9060 XT is currently the best value option. It can handle most games easily at both 1080p and 1440p resolutions, making it a solid choice for your gaming needs. Just go for the 16GB version for the best performance!

Just to clarify, you're saying the 16GB version is the one to go for?

Awesome, thanks for the input!

Just a quick note on the RX 9060 XT, especially the 16GB version—it's a great choice that balances performance and price. I wouldn't recommend Intel cards for gaming as they don't hold up well compared to AMD.

When choosing GPUs, keep in mind the generation and performance level indicated by the model number. A higher number signifies better performance. If you can afford it, AMD tends to give you the best bang for your buck for gaming. Just consider what resolution and framerate you want to hit, especially for titles at 4K.

Thanks for breaking that down! I appreciate the insights. I'm aiming for 1080p, so that makes sense.

Before making a decision, think about what resolution you plan to game at. If you're looking for the most affordable option, that's one angle to consider, but otherwise, go for the best available card.

I'm looking to play at 1080p, so that should work if I keep it budget-friendly!

For gaming GPUs over $300, 12GB of VRAM is the minimum you should aim for. The 4060 and 5060 might be iffy, so steer clear of those. The 16GB RX 9060 XT is faster than the Intel B570, so unless you find the Intel cards significantly cheaper, the RX is the way to go.
