Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC because my old one wouldn't let me upgrade to Windows 11. Here are the specs: a Gigabyte B550M K motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600x CPU, 16GB of RAM (2x8 GB Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 at 3600 MHz), and a 1TB Sandisk Extreme NVMe SSD. Currently, I'm using an old GPU, the Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti, which surprisingly allows me to play some older games.
I mostly play offline titles like the Bioshock series, Dishonored, Wolfenstein series, Fallout, and Assassin's Creed on an LG 27GL650F 27" monitor at 1080p 144Hz. I'm also looking to use a TCL 4K TV with 60Hz (and 120Hz VRR) for some gaming.
I'm stuck choosing between these four graphics cards: RX 6650 XT (which is the cheapest), RX 7600, RTX 3060 12GB, and RTX 4060.
The 4060 is the most I can afford, but I'd have to change my PSU for a more powerful card later on. I could really use your advice on which one to choose based on my setup and gaming preferences. Thanks a lot!

Based on the current prices—like the XFX RX 6650 XT at $273, or the RTX 4060 around $363—I’d say the RX 6650 XT is technically the best bang for your buck, especially for the games you mostly play. Just keep an eye out for those prices and any upcoming releases that might impact the market!
Smart move! Upgrading the RAM can really improve your system's performance overall!
If we're talking performance, the RTX 3060 and 4060 will outshine the others, especially with upscaling features that work well even at 1080p. But since you're playing older AAA titles, the 6650 XT is a solid choice too—it can easily deliver 60fps at 4K in those games. Just keep in mind, if you plan on diving into more demanding games later on, the 4060 might be worth considering for its superior tech.
Honestly, the best bet might be to go for the RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM. That gives you a nice balance of performance and memory. Alternatively, if you opt for the cheaper RX 6650 XT, you could save some cash and even upgrade your system's RAM down the line, which could boost your performance as well!
I'd recommend holding off for the RTX 5060 if you can. It’s set to launch soon, and that would give you the best performance and future-proofing. If you decide you can't wait, the RTX 4060 is a great choice because of its advanced upscaling tech. But nothing wrong with the RX 6650 XT for now if you're sticking with older titles!
I can definitely wait a bit longer. I’m trying to stay within my budget, and it’s funny how my old GTX 750 Ti still works with all this new tech because of PCI-e compatibility!
For sure! PCI-e compatibility is like a lifesaver for those of us not ready to throw everything away yet!
Yeah, those prices definitely help! Might just have to snag that 6650 XT and save up a bit for RAM!
