I'm considering buying a graphics card and I'm stuck between the Gigabyte GV RV9060XT and the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060. The seller is telling me that the 5060 is a better choice because it has more reliable drivers and enhanced features compared to the 9060XT. Is he correct in saying the 5060 is the superior option?

Checking on the VRAM is key here. I think a standard 9060 can be compared to the 5060. Still, if you're looking at the XT version, it might pack an even bigger punch. Both cards have their merits, so it really comes down to what you're after—features or power.

Honestly, if we're talking about the 9060XT versus the 5060, I'd say the 9060XT takes the lead overall. While Nvidia does have a solid suite of features like DLSS and Frame Generation, the raw performance of the 9060XT is generally better.

Just to clarify, are we discussing the base 9060 or the 9060XT? Because the XT version is definitely stronger!

Don't forget that AMD's driver issues have improved a lot recently. While Nvidia has better features, the 5060 generally drops behind in raw performance compared to the 9060XT. You'll want to weigh whether those extra features are worth it for your gaming needs.

For what it's worth, the 9060XT outshines the 5060 in terms of raw power. That said, Nvidia’s features can be a game-changer. If fancy features like DLSS are important to you, that could sway your decision, but it's a tradeoff for the overall performance.
