Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a tough spot and could really use your advice. I've dabbled in both Python and C#, but right now, I'm leaning towards C#. The thing is, I live in Brazil and the job market seems to be getting worse really fast. I need to land a job almost immediately, so I'm trying to decide whether I should go back to Python or stick with C#. Essentially, I'm looking for insights on which language would be easier to find a job with, considering my situation.

Check job availability for both languages in your area. Go with whatever will get you hired faster!

No language guarantees a job right now—it really depends on where you are. Each city in Brazil has different availability for jobs. If you know a bit of both, that’s good, but don’t expect to get hired just because you know the language. I’d suggest focusing on C# and the ASP.NET framework since it’s more enterprise-friendly.

If you only have a basic understanding of both, it might be tough to find a job quickly. It usually takes at least a year to become job-ready. Focus on building something useful, like an app or website. If you need work now, consider applying for any entry-level position and learning to code concurrently!

From my experience, C# and Java tend to have more job openings. Python is great too, especially in Data Analysis or AI. Just remember, as a Junior dev in Brazil, it might be a bit challenging to land a job, but not impossible!

Honestly, just pick whichever language helps you build something. Each has its strengths: C# is great for enterprise jobs like in banking or healthcare, while Python shines in data science and startups. Focus on what field you want to work in and choose accordingly. Once you get good at one, learning others becomes a breeze!

I’d have to go with C#—it seems to have less competition than Python right now.
