Which Linux Distro is Best for Customization: Mint or More Advanced Options?

I've been customizing Windows for about a year without going too deep—just some fun tweaks I picked up from YouTube, like using Flow Launcher, Windhawk, Yasb, Everything search, and changing up cursors and sounds. Now, I'm considering switching to Linux, but I'm totally new to it. I'm not familiar with how it works or the basic structure.

I want to know: is Linux Mint sufficient for a beginner like me, or should I dive into something like Arch or Fedora KDE for more customization options?

Any Linux distro can work well for customization; it really boils down to the desktop environment (DE) you're using. Look into options like KDE Plasma, which is particularly flexible and user-friendly for beginners still wanting to customize their experience.

Definitely go for Linux Mint to begin with! It's an excellent choice for newcomers. Just be sure to explore the customization tools in Mint. And when you're ready for deeper tweaks, you can always switch to something like Fedora KDE later.

Mint is perfect for beginners! I suggest you use it for a few months to get comfortable with Linux before diving into a more complex setup like Arch. Also, check out resources like the Beginners guide to Ricing for more advanced customization ideas.

I'd recommend starting with Fedora KDE or Kubuntu rather than Arch. KDE is super customizable, and those options will give you a great balance of power and user-friendly features while you learn the ropes.
