I'm looking for a lightweight Linux distribution that's easy to install and will receive long-term security updates. I primarily use platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit, so I need something that supports those well. I'm not particularly tech-savvy, but I can follow along with step-by-step video tutorials. If Linux isn't suitable for me, I'd appreciate suggestions for other operating systems. For your reference, you can find my laptop's full specs here: [HP 15-bs023nq Specs](https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c05888629).

If you're new to Linux, I'd suggest giving Linux Mint a try. It's really user-friendly, has a straightforward installation, and it'll handle everything you need for Facebook, YouTube, and Reddit. I’ve set it up for a lot of customers, and they all find it easy to use!
Yeah, Mint is definitely the way to go for beginners.
Totally agree! Mint is great because you can manage a lot of it without needing to touch the terminal. It feels a lot like Windows.
