Which Linux Distro is Best for NVIDIA and Hyprland Support?

I'm really interested in getting into Hyprland because of all the customization options, even though I hear it's not super beginner-friendly. I want to set it up on a distro that makes it easy to install NVIDIA drivers since I've just learned there's a way to get Hyprland working with NVIDIA. I've looked into a few distros like Pop OS, Cachy OS, and Bazzite, but I'm not sure which is the best choice or if there are other options I should consider. By the way, I'm planning to use Linux for gaming and productivity tasks, so that might influence my decision. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

CachyOS is a solid choice! It has good out-of-the-box support for NVIDIA GPUs, which is a plus. Even if you’re new to Hyprland, switching from the default KDE setup should be pretty straightforward since it’s Arch-based.

Yeah, I’ve heard that you can pick Hyprland during the CachyOS installation, which makes it convenient. If it’s worked well for you, then I say go for it!

I’ve tried CachyOS and vouch for it! Even though Hyprland isn’t my favorite, it works fine on CachyOS if you’re set on it. It seems to be really user-friendly for NVIDIA support too, so it’s worth checking out.

Pop!_OS is also a viable option, but keep in mind that it might require some tweaks to get the latest version of Hyprland up and running since its package can be outdated. You might have to deal with adding a PPA, which seems like more effort than using CachyOS.
