Hey Linux enthusiasts! Given the recent struggles with Windows 11 and the impending doom of Windows 10, I'm curious about how different Linux distros stack up in terms of gaming performance. I know that Linux generally performs better on AMD hardware, but I'm specifically wondering whether Fedora, Nobara, or Arch is the better choice for gamers. I've heard Arch is good since SteamOS is based on it, but I'm not entirely sure. Would appreciate any insights! (Apologies for my English!)

In my opinion, CachyOS is great because it comes with everything optimized out of the box. You can definitely tweak Arch for better performance, but Cachy just works without all the setup hassle!
Honestly, there's not a huge difference in gaming performance among those distros. Just pick the one you enjoy using the most and go with it!
Yeah, performance variations are pretty minor in real-world usage. I’ve tried all three, and they all handled games about the same for me!
Yep, I agree! I like how CachyOS keeps it simple but still offers solid performance.
