Hey everyone! I'm about to build my first PC and I'm trying to figure out which Micro ATX motherboards would work well with the Noctua NH-D15 cooler. I'm considering a B850 motherboard, but I'm concerned about whether there'll be enough space for this big cooler, especially when it comes to fitting RAM and maintaining good airflow in the case. For my build, I'm using a Lian Li A3 case along with a 9800X3D and a PNY 5080 graphics card. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Absolutely! The NH-D15 is a beast but should fit in the B850 motherboard. Just make sure your RAM modules aren’t too tall, and you should be fine. Also, the airflow in the Lian Li A3 will be decent, so that shouldn’t be a big worry. Really like the NH-D15's design, it’s definitely worth it for the aesthetics too!

I agree! I like the brown color scheme of the NH-D15 too. It really stands out.

Any Micro ATX motherboard should fit the Noctua NH-D15 without issue. If you're looking for alternatives, the Thermalright PS120 is a great cooler option that’s much cheaper but offers similar performance.

Awesome, thanks for the tip! I’ll check out the Thermalright too.
