Which PC component should I upgrade first?

I've been holding onto my PC for over 10 years now, and I'm finally looking into upgrading some components. Right now, I'm using a Biostar A85W motherboard, an AMD A10-5800K CPU, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 710. Given this setup, which part should I prioritize upgrading first?

If you’re tight on cash, definitely focus on one thing at a time—start with the GPU, then see how the performance improves before moving onto the CPU and motherboard. It all depends on your use case though!

Honestly, your whole setup is pretty outdated! But if you're on a budget, I’d suggest starting with the GPU. If your power supply unit (PSU) can handle it, something like a GTX 2070 would give you a nice boost without breaking the bank. Just make sure your motherboard can support it. If you upgrade the CPU afterward, you might need a whole new motherboard too, so keep that in mind!

I recommend getting a new GPU as well, especially if you’re gaming or doing anything that needs more graphics power. Just check your PSU capacity; a max combined wattage of 650W is decent, but you need to know the individual specs for the GPU you plan to get. It might bottleneck if you go too big too soon. Focus on what your board can handle!
