I'm a 13-year-old interested in learning a programming language to eventually create games. I've tried Python, but I feel like I want to tackle something more challenging. I'm currently working through LearnCPP and wondering if I should switch to a language like C instead. What do you recommend?

You’ll eventually want to explore a bit of everything, so don’t stress too much about which language to pick. Just stick with learning and practicing. That’s what really counts!

Take it easy! You're already ahead of many beginners. Just make sure to learn consistently every day and focus on mastering one language at a time. Keep practicing, and you’ll see progress!

If you ask me, it's more important to become proficient in your first language than to jump around learning new ones. Mastering Python can give you great programming skills. Once you finish LearnCPP, I'd say dive into JavaScript; it’s widely used, and you can even create games with it!

Instead of focusing just on the difficulty of the language, consider what you really want to create. Programming languages are just tools that help you build your ideas. Think about the game or project you’re passionate about and then choose the language that fits best for that purpose.

JavaScript is really popular and has tons of tutorials available. It's a fun language to use and could be great for you, especially if you're interested in game development on the web.
