I've been hearing some not-so-great things about Corsair lately, so I want to know which brands are actually good for RAM. My setup includes a 5060 Ti graphics card and a Ryzen 5 7600X processor, and I'm looking for 16GB of RAM.

Honestly, just go for whatever is affordable. Brands like SK Hynix, Samsung, or Micron are solid choices. If you're on a budget, that's where I would focus my energy.

The brand isn’t everything; what you really want are Hynix A-die chips, which are commonly in kits with a profile of 6000MT+. Companies do have different warranty policies, though. Also, I'd lean towards the 9060 XT 16GB over the 5060 Ti due to PCIe lane limitations.

Corsair can be overhyped and pricey. Look for the cheapest 2x16GB 6000MT RAM kit with decent specs and you should be set. Most RAM comes with a lifetime warranty anyway.

My Corsair RAM has actually been great—overclocked and stable for four years now. I appreciate the iCue software for monitoring temperatures.

If you're gaming, definitely check the RAM compatibility list on your motherboard’s site. Don't get too hung up on specific brands; just aim for 6000MHz speed. The difference in performance for slightly different timings is minimal, like 1-2 FPS at most.
