I'm comparing two RAM kits: one with 48GB at CL38 and 7600MHz and another with 64GB at CL28 and 6000MHz. Both kits are similarly priced and a bit beyond what I need for my PC usage, which mainly involves gaming, streaming, and occasional video editing. I'm set on getting the 64GB kit, as bigger capacity is generally better, but higher frequency options seem scarce. I'm currently using a B650 Tomahawk WiFi motherboard from MSI and plan to upgrade to an ASUS TUF Gaming X670E with the new RAM. My current setup is 64GB CL40 5200MHz, so either kit would be an upgrade. What would offer better performance?

If you're using AMD's AM5 platform, I’d lean towards the 6000 CL28 option; stability is key here. While you can overclock and tweak the 7600 kit, you might run into some trouble with compatibility unless you're comfortable with manual settings. Plus, 64GB is great for your needs, and a 6000 CL30 kit could offer reliability without the hassle. DDR5 is still a bit finicky on AMD, so don't push it too hard without ensuring you can achieve those speeds.

Is 2x32GB CL30 6000MHz good for a 5080 and a 14700K?
