I'm building a system with a 7800X3D CPU and an X870E Aorus Elite WiFi 7 motherboard, and I'm trying to decide between two Lexar ARES RGB RAM kits. The first option is 32GB (2x16GB) at 6400MT/s with timings of CL 32-38-38-76 for $130. The second option is also 32GB (2x16GB) at 7200MT/s with timings of CL 34-42-42-84 for $145. The price difference isn't significant, so I'm more interested in which RAM will offer better performance and stability. Which one should I pick?

Honestly, you might be looking at the wrong options. The best bet is to find the cheapest DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM. Higher speeds can sometimes lead to issues where your internal clock speeds drop, which could slow your system down.
I'd go with the first option, the 6400MT/s CL 32-38-38-76. You might end up having trouble pushing the timings past 6000 even if you try, so it’s better to play it safe with something that's already solid.
I guess I’ll go for the first one then, thanks!
It really depends on how well you can stabilize your Infinity Fabric clock. That's what will impact your performance most with these kits.
I know that, but I can’t find anything with those specs locally, and I don’t want to order online.
