I'm trying to deploy in UK South, but I've hit a wall with VM availability—every quota increase request gets rejected. I can't find any Azure documentation about capacity issues. I'm considering other regions in the EU but I'm unsure about their capacity situations, particularly in North Europe and Germany West. I'm looking for insights into which regions are currently not facing these VM capacity challenges.

I've had a really tough time with quota requests in UK South for months! I heard that Sweden has some capacity available, and it has decent latency too.
You might want to check your quotas for other regions. Remember that quotas can differ based on VM SKU, and some SKUs get denied more often. Try these tips: choose different SKUs like AMD variants which are often more available, and avoid targeting specific zones if possible. Picking a regional deployment could help as well!
Are you on a Pay-As-You-Go plan or coordinating with a cloud partner? The age of your account matters too. If your setup only includes Azure with no history, that could flag risks. Building a solid profile can help lessen this risk in Azure's eyes.
Just a heads up, North Europe is also struggling with capacity. We couldn't bring machines back up after powering them down because of this issue. Sometimes switching to AMD-based SKUs helps, but it's frustrating that it doesn't feel as scalable as we expected.
Have you thought about using UK West? It lacks availability zones, which might affect your SLA, but it tends to work fine for many workloads.
