Which RX9070 XT Edition Should I Choose?

Hey everyone! I'm in the midst of building my new PC and I've decided to go with the RX9070 XT since it's significantly cheaper in my area compared to the NVIDIA 5070 Ti. However, I'm feeling overwhelmed by all the different editions available. Currently, I see several options from XFX, including the Swift, Quicksilver, and Mercury, with the XFX Mercury Gaming LED being the cheapest by just one euro. There's also the more expensive XFX Mercury OC Magnetic Air.

Beyond those, I see other brands like ASUS, Gigabyte, and Sapphire with their own variants all within a similar price range.

Since I'm not concerned about the aesthetics—my PC will be a black box—I'm just looking for the best performance for my budget. I initially thought about getting the XFX Mercury Gaming LED due to its pricing and reputation. Any advice on how to choose between these editions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

If aesthetics don't matter to you, just grab the cheaper one that fits your budget. It won't make a huge performance difference—most of these cards are pretty comparable!

I'd recommend going for the cheapest XFX card that you like. They have solid cooling solutions for the RX9070 XT, and the performance differences between the editions are usually minimal, just a few percent at most.
