Hey everyone! I'm planning to build a PC with an RTX 5070 and I'm stuck on what CPU to pair it with. I'm considering the Ryzen 7 9700X and the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but there's a $75 price difference with the 7800X3D being more expensive here. What do you think I should do? Are either of those the best option, or is there another Ryzen CPU that you'd recommend?

If you're leaning away from getting an X3D, the Ryzen 5 9600X is a solid option. It’s pretty close to the 9700X in gaming performance without the extra cost.

If your budget allows, check if you can squeeze in a 7500F with the 5070ti, especially if you're avoiding AMD cards altogether. But just an FYI, the 5070 is around $550 while the 5070ti goes for like $1000, so the RX 9070 XT could be a better deal if you’re looking to upgrade.
Make sure to factor in the rest of your build, too! The CPU needs to complement your GPU for the best performance.
Why not consider going for the Ryzen 4070? It could be a great combo to balance your system out nicely.
