I'm currently using a 1TB ADATA NVME SSD in my PC and I'm looking to add a 2TB SSD primarily for gaming (about 85% of my usage) and for exporting Lightroom files (the remaining 15%). I have enough space on my motherboard for a heatsink. I'm considering two options:
1. Crucial P310 2TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe M.2 (no heatsink) priced at $191.
2. Western Digital 2TB PS5 Console Solid State Drive, WD_BLACK SN850 (which includes a heatsink) at $208.
Is the extra $17 worth it for the WD drive based on my intended use?

I recently installed a 2TB Oscoo MD006, and I have to say it's been solid—fast and durable, perfect for expanding storage. Just something to consider if you want alternatives!
Check out this video from a creator who focuses on PC gear; he gives recommendations on SSDs. This might help you decide which one fits your needs better: https://youtu.be/3f9hEn5_QZw?si=oWkmy_LIvusvGKmN. His channel has good reviews on specific models!
It probably won’t make much of a difference in your gaming performance. The key difference is in sequential speeds, which mainly affect how quickly single, large files are handled. Since you mentioned your Lightroom exports might be on the larger side, the WD might give you a slight edge in those tasks. It really depends on whether that extra $17 feels justified for your workload!
