Which SSD Should I Choose: Kingston NV3 or WD Blue SN580?

I'm looking to upgrade my current 500GB WD_BLACK SN770 to a 1TB SSD, and I've narrowed it down to two options: the Kingston NV3 for 90 CAD (65 USD) and the WD Blue SN580 for 95 CAD (68 USD). I've also heard good things about the Samsung 990 EVO, which costs 110 CAD (80 USD), but I'm trying to stick to a budget. Can anyone give me advice on which option is better or if there's a better alternative?

I remember the Kingston KC3000 series being far superior compared to both NV3 and SN580, but it comes at almost double the price. If you can stretch your budget, it might be worth considering for the performance boost, though it depends on what you’re using it for.

Yeah, but if the KC3000 is nearly double, that's a tough call for a tight budget.

If you’re seeking the best value, the Kingston NV3 is actually the cheapest Gen 4 1TB SSD at around 71 CAD on PCPartPicker. I’d go for the lowest-priced Gen 4 option available to you—just make sure you check for stock!
