Which SSD Should I Choose: P310 or SN850X?

Hey everyone, I need some advice on which SSD to get for my gaming setup. I'm in the US and have found the P310 2TB for $256, while the SN850X is available for $270. Is the extra $15 worth it for the SN850X? This will be my only SSD, and my main use will be gaming. Thanks!

Definitely go for the SN850X! It has TLC NAND flash and a DRAM cache, which makes it a much better deal for just $15 more. You'll appreciate the performance in the long run!

It's also a Western Digital, which means its going to be complete shit.

I'd actually suggest looking at other options. Crucial might be phasing out their products, so those P310s could be leftover stock with no support down the line. Western Digital's not much better either; they've had a lot of support issues. Check out Samsung or other brands with good specs instead!

No contest, the SN850X is the way to go! You'll get better longevity and write endurance, which is key for a gaming SSD. It’s faster too, but honestly, you might not notice that much difference in games. Still, that extra performance is nice to have!
