Hey everyone! I'm diving into some competitive gaming on Marvel Rivals and am looking to give my PC a boost. Currently, I have a setup with a 7600x CPU, 6700xt GPU, and 32GB of RAM, all running on a 1080p 240Hz monitor. I'm torn between two upgrade options: should I go for a new CPU like the 7800x3d or 9800x3d, or should I upgrade to a new GPU such as the RX 9070 or RTX 5070? Any advice on which would give me the best performance improvement?

I agree with the others; definitely consider the GPU for more FPS. My experience shows that it’s crucial for competitive games. If you're shooting for the best performance, getting that GPU upgrade could make a significant difference in your gaming visuals and frame rates!

Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely check my GPU usage. Hoping to get the most out of my setup!

Your system is pretty solid overall, but it might help to check your GPU usage while gaming. If it's hitting 100% usage, then that's your bottleneck, and you'll want to upgrade the GPU. If not, then it could be the CPU that's holding you back. So monitor that usage while playing!

Given your high refresh rate monitor, I’d lean towards upgrading your GPU first. It sounds like you’re looking for higher FPS during combat, and a stronger GPU can help you reach those 240 FPS peaks for a smoother experience. But don't overlook CPU performance as well—it’s essential for balancing everything out!
