Which Zotac GPU Should I Choose for 1080p/1440p Gaming?

I'm considering buying a GPU for primarily 1080p gameplay but I'd like the option for some occasional 1440p as well. My past experience with Zotac's shipping wasn't great, but I'm hoping it was just a one-time fluke. Given some recent options I've found, I'm curious about which GPU would be best for my needs. I'm thinking of undervolting the 30 series cards to keep my room cooler, but I'd also like some advice on whether I should do the same for the newer models. I have some questions about the specific models, like the differences between the twin fan vs. triple fan shrouds, standard vs. overclocked versions, and whether it's better to buy refurbished, open box, or new. Here are the options I'm looking at:

**Refurbished with 90 Day Warranty:**
- RTX 3070 - $244.99 (Single Fan Blower 8GB)
- RTX 3070ti - $279.99 (Triple Fan Trinity 8GB)
- RTX 3080 - $370.99 (Triple Fan Trinity OC LHR 10GB)
- RTX 3080ti - $461.99 (Triple Fan Trinity OC 12GB)

**Open Box with 2 Year Warranty:**
- RTX 4070 - $439.99 (Twin Fan Edge Base/OC 12GB)
- RTX 4070 - $479.99 (Triple Fan Trinity 12GB)
- RTX 4070 Super - $503.99 (Twin Fan Edge Base/OC 12GB)
- RTX 4070 Super - $535.99 (Triple Fan Trinity OC 12GB)
- RTX 5070 - $602.99 (Triple fan Trinity 12GB)

In my opinion, the 4070 twin edge for $439 is the best pick. It’s powerful enough with 12GB of VRAM and you get access to the latest features. Seriously, don’t go for a 3070 when you can get this, and the 5070 is way overpriced at $600 since new ones are around $640.

So, do you think it’s not worth the upgrade to the 4070 Super instead?

I’d go for the 4070 Super with the twin fan, mainly because of the great 2-year warranty.

But if you’re looking for value, the standard 3080 is probably the best bang for your buck!

Yeah, but isn’t the 3080 like $132 more? I wonder how much of a difference it would make if you undervolt it.
