Why am I losing internet after switching to bridge mode on my modem router?

Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my modem router combo. I have a Netgear Nighthawk cax30s and x10 setup. Initially, both devices had their own SSIDs and were working fine. But to eliminate interference, I switched the modem router into bridge mode and power cycled them one at a time. Now, I'm connecting without internet access. What could be causing this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like when you switched to bridge mode, the modem router might not be handling the internet connection correctly anymore. When you enable bridge mode, the modem should only be passing through the connection without managing routing. Check if your x10 is set as the main router and getting the right IP from the modem.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the settings on the x10 to see how it’s configured.
