I recently upgraded from a 3060TI to a 3090 after finding a good deal. I tested the card, and the temperatures seem fine with my 850W Lian Li Edge PSU. However, I'm not noticing the significant performance increase I expected. Could my Ryzen 5 9600X CPU be holding it back? I'm running at 1080p since I haven't upgraded to a 1440p monitor yet. In benchmarks with FurMark, I scored around 11,000, while other 3090s typically hit around 15,000. I've checked that my 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 6000MT/s is installed correctly, and I've also used DDU to refresh my drivers. Is there a way to fix this, or am I just being unrealistic with my expectations?

It would be a good idea to run some more benchmarks, like 3D Mark. Make sure to note the scores, temps, and the power draw your 3090 is reaching. This way, you can get a clearer picture of what’s happening.
It sounds like you're likely running into a CPU bottleneck. A quick way to check is to monitor your CPU and GPU usage. If your CPU is above 80% and your GPU is below 95%, that usually indicates the CPU is limiting performance.
