I've shut down all my AWS services, but I'm still getting billed. When I check the global view, I see some Managed Prefix Lists in regions I've never used, and it looks like I can't delete them because the option is disabled. Could these lists be causing the charges, and if so, how can I get rid of them?

Sorry to hear about the billing issues! I recommend reaching out directly to AWS Account and Billing Support. They can help you sort through the charges and even assist you with any urgent queries via phone or chat support if needed. Just create a case through their support center.
Managed Prefix Lists are AWS's way of helping with things like Gateway endpoints, and you shouldn't be charged for them. If you’re seeing unexpected charges, it's a good idea to dive deep into Cost Explorer. It usually reveals what you're really paying for, which might not be immediately obvious.
It's easy to overlook things that lead to charges, like EBS snapshots or RDS backups, even after you've closed out services. These can linger and still rack up costs. Managed Prefix Lists can’t be deleted if they’re in use, so check if any security groups or shared resources are linked to them. You might want to look at AWS Cost Explorer to pinpoint the source of your charges.
