I've got a Sapphire Nitro+ AMD Radeon 9070 XT that seems to be functioning properly except for one major issue: the fans are stuck running at full speed all the time. No software recognizes the fan activity, so I can't adjust the fan curve or anything. I've tried everything from updating drivers to checking BIOS settings, yet nothing changes this noisy problem. The temps are fine, so it's not overheating. The only thing I haven't attempted is updating the motherboard BIOS (ASRock X870E Taichi Lite). I'm wondering if that could help or if it's time to look into replacing the card. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your GPU fans are malfunctioning. If they’re running at full speed constantly, you might have a defective card. I'd recommend checking the store’s return policy and potentially returning it if you’re still within that time frame. If that isn’t an option, you could try updating the VBIOS, but keep in mind that if something goes wrong, it could brick the card, and fixing that won't be easy.

Yeah, I got it from eBay, so I’ll have to sort things out with the seller. I’m hesitant to mess with the VBIOS since I’m not experienced with that. Taking the card out is going to be a hassle too.
