Hey folks! I just upgraded from Intel to AMD and got myself a 9950X. While I'm really impressed with its performance, I'm concerned about the temperatures I'm seeing. My setup includes an AMD 9950X CPU, an ASUS ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi motherboard, and an NZXT Kraken Z73 (360mm) AIO cooler. Even when I'm just browsing with Chrome open, my temps hover around 70°C, and they climb to about 75°C while gaming. My friend has the same CPU but is getting 45-50°C idle. I'm worried I might have done something wrong or if this is normal for my chip. I've even reapplied thermal paste but didn't see any change. Any insights would be really helpful! Thanks!

It might also be worth checking if there’s any software running in the background that's hogging CPU resources. Sometimes bloatware can contribute to higher temperatures than expected.
Did you remember to take off the plastic cover on the AIO cooler's plate? That could seriously affect your temperatures if it's still on!
Yep, I made sure to remove it. My build's been up for a while now; I just switched to AMD recently.
