I'm experiencing really slow download speeds on the Epic Games launcher. My read and write speeds are around 170 mbps, but it takes me about 20 minutes to download a 2GB game. For comparison, it only takes about 30 seconds on Steam. I'm using a LAN cable, so my internet connection should be fine. Any ideas on what's going on?

It might be due to some limited capacity on Epic's servers, or maybe they're doing some load balancing. Just because your connection is fast doesn't mean the servers are delivering at full speed. It's kind of like having a super-fast car but getting stuck in traffic!
That makes sense, but I've noticed that my friend can finish downloads super quickly even when we're both downloading at the same time. Any idea why that might be?
