I've been experiencing some frustrating performance issues while gaming on my PC. I often get noticeable frame drops, where my FPS can dip to around 60-70, and then it stays low. To temporarily fix this, I have to press Ctrl + Shift + Windows + B, which does bring my FPS back up to about 180 for a little while, but this happens every 4 minutes! My previous FPS in games like Rainbow Six Siege used to be around 220, but now it's down to 130, and even lower in Rocket League on the lowest settings. I'm really looking for a permanent solution to this problem. Any ideas on how I can fix it? Thanks for any advice!

Make sure your GPU drivers are up to date and also check if your motherboard BIOS needs an update. Those updates can often help with performance issues. If you've downgraded and reinstalled drivers without luck, you might consider looking up how to perform a BIOS update—it can fix a lot of underlying issues!
Hey, have you checked your GPU temperatures? Sometimes overheating can cause FPS drops. You mentioned using an R7 5700X and an RTX 3050, which should generally perform well, but if your GPU is overheating, that could definitely be the issue!
Yeah, I checked, and they’re staying below 60%, so I think that’s okay.

I’ve upgraded and downgraded some drivers already. Any tips on how to do the motherboard update?
