I've been having trouble with my computer lately, especially with a couple of games like Madden and Red Dead Redemption 2. They just won't open, and I get a message saying I'm out of memory. When I check the task manager while trying to start these games, it shows they're using about 3,000 to 10,000 MB of RAM. However, I only see that around 30-40% of my RAM is being used overall. This is confusing because I can still play other games like Jurassic World Evolution without any issues. My computer specs are 32GB of RAM, an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super. Can anyone help me understand what's going on?

Try quoting the exact error message the games give you. Sometimes those little details can provide a clue. It can help narrow down what’s wrong with your setup.
It sounds like your system might be running some other applications in the background that are using up RAM. Have you checked what else is running in your task manager? Sometimes, programs can hog memory even when it doesn’t look full. Also, make sure to look for any unnecessary background processes that can slow down performance.
Yeah, I had a similar issue once. You can take a look at your startup programs and disable anything you don't need to run all the time!
I’ll check that out! Thanks for the tip.

The message says, 'Out of memory. Please reboot, close other applications, and ensure your computer meets the minimum requirements.'
