I've recently noticed that my laptop's speakers crackle loudly when I'm watching videos while it's charging. This has been happening since I got it for Christmas. The weird thing is that the crackling stops immediately when I unplug the charger. What might be causing this issue?

That sounds frustrating! It’s not normal for your laptop to act like that, so I recommend reaching out to get a warranty claim. You shouldn’t have to deal with crackling speakers, especially on a new device.
There could be a few culprits for the crackling sound. It could be due to: 1) A bad power supply, 2) Issues with the laptop's manufacturing quality, 3) Driver problems (happened to me once!), or 4) Interference from the charger cable. Are you sure it’s the speakers and not something like the fan?
Try turning off any nearby cellphones and see if that makes a difference. Sometimes they can cause interference with speakers.
You've got a couple of things to consider here. First, the battery charging creates a small electromagnetic field that might be interfering with the speaker coils. Since the speakers are so close to the battery, any induced voltage could be causing the crackling sound. It's definitely something to look into!
Just a wild guess, but it might be an issue with the power supply. Crackling sounds aren't typical, so contacting tech support is a good move before the warranty expires.
