I accidentally deleted an Excel file using Shift+Del and now I'm in a bit of a bind. The file was pretty small, around 5-10 MB, and I'm using Excel 2013 on an unlicensed version. Is there a way to recover it through temporary files? It's been about 2 hours since I deleted it, and I'm considering using a software called Recovery DMDE. Any advice would be appreciated!

It might be hard to recover that file if you've already been using the computer after deletion. If it’s really important, consider reaching out to a professional recovery service, though it can be expensive, often around $1000. But depending on the importance of the file, it might be worth it. Otherwise, try to look into recovery options for HDDs as SSDs have their own limitations.
If your hard drive is SSD, I'm afraid the chances of recovery are slim since the data is likely gone. But if it's an HDD, act fast! Stop using your PC right away. The best option is to connect the drive to another computer and use recovery tools like Recuva to try and retrieve the missing file. Just keep in mind that if the file was overwritten, your chances go down significantly.
