I recently built a new PC with some solid specs, including an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU, an ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WiFi motherboard, and two NVMe SSDs: a Samsung 980 1TB and a Kingston NV2 1TB. After setting everything up, I ran into several issues. Initially, Windows 10 got stuck on 'Just a moment,' so I switched to Windows 11. While gaming, I experienced a MEMORY MANAGEMENT BSOD, and eventually my Samsung SSD disappeared from the BIOS. I managed to get my Kingston SSD to work for a bit, but it slowed down drastically, showing 100% disk usage at 2–3MB/s. I'm wondering what could have caused two SSDs to fail so quickly. Is it possible that both drives were defective, or could the motherboard or power supply be to blame? Should I consider switching to SATA SSDs instead? Any insights would be greatly appreciated since I just spent around €1400 on this build and currently have a non-functional PC!

That's a real bummer! First off, make sure your motherboard is properly supporting the PCIe lanes. If there’s a mismatch in what your CPU and motherboard can handle, it could lead to SSD issues. It's worth checking your manual for specs!
