I have a 2 Gbps internet connection that works great for everything else, but I'm seeing really slow download speeds on Steam. It averages around 480 Mbps while I should be getting closer to 1900 Mbps. I've tried connecting to different Steam servers, and I'm using an NVMe SSD. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Steam sometimes struggles with download speeds due to its throttling, but it’s not very common. One potential reason could be your CPU may not be quick enough to decompress the incoming data. Try checking your CPU performance when downloading.
I’ve got a 7900X, would that be an issue?
