I've noticed some strange behavior with the volume keys on my keyboard. The up volume key opens the search bar, the mute button leads to Google support, and the down volume button doesn't seem to do anything at all. I've tried the fn+esc combination, but that didn't work either. I've also restarted my computer multiple times without any success. I'm not very tech-savvy, so I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out!

Is this happening on a Chromebook or a different type of laptop? Sometimes the function of keys can vary based on the device you're using.
Have you tried pressing fn + volume up? It might give you temporary control over the volume, but I understand you want to fix the buttons to work as intended without extra keys. It's definitely odd that they are redirecting you like that!
Yeah, that raises the volume, but I’d prefer just using the button normally.
It's actually a Dell Latitude 3190 running Windows 11.
