I've been experiencing some issues with my WASD keys in various games like Minecraft, Repo, and Fortnite. Sometimes, when I press a key, my character seems to drift in that direction even after I release the key. A friend suggested it might be dirt in the keyboard, but I've noticed a couple of other things too. Whenever this drifting occurs, if I attempt to jump or change directions, it only registers after the drifting stops. Additionally, there's a delay of about a second before my character starts moving after I pause the game and return. This makes me think it might be a lag issue rather than a physical keyboard problem. Any tips on how to fix this?

You might want to try cleaning your keyboard first. If it's a mechanical keyboard, remove the keycap and use around 90% isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip. Press it against the key to let the alcohol seep in, then mash the key a bit. If that doesn’t help, you can repeat the cleaning process. Just make sure to let it dry before using it again. Had a similar situation years ago with a spill, and cleaning fixed it up!
But what’s strange is that it doesn’t feel like the keys physically stick—it's super random. Sometimes I just start drifting for no reason, which doesn’t seem like a typical sticking issue.
