I'm using Zorin OS Lite on an old HP Pavilion 6 notebook, and suddenly, several keys ('a', 's', 'd', 'f', 'j', 'k', 'l', and ';') have stopped responding. They were working fine yesterday, and I'm not sure what caused this issue. If anyone has solutions for this problem on my current setup or advice related to switching to Arch Linux, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks for your help!

It sounds like a frustrating issue! First, try checking your keyboard for any dirt or debris that might be causing the keys to stick. You can also attempt to reset your keyboard settings in Zorin OS. If the keys are still unresponsive, it might be worth checking if it’s a hardware issue by connecting an external keyboard to see if the problem persists. As for Arch Linux, once you switch, you can check the keyboard layout settings during the installation to ensure everything is configured correctly.
I had a similar issue with my old laptop! In my case, reinstalling the keyboard drivers helped. You might want to try updating or reinstalling the drivers in Zorin. If you do move to Arch, be sure to keep the keyboard settings in mind during setup. Sometimes, simply switching the keybindings helps too!
