Why Can’t I Connect to WiFi Even Though I Didn’t Change the Password?

Hey everyone! I'm having a frustrating issue with my home WiFi. Recently, all devices are unable to connect, and when I try to join the network on my iPhone, it keeps saying the password is incorrect, even though I haven't changed it at all. I've attempted restarting my Netgear CM600 by turning it off and on, unplugging it, and even using the reset button on the back, but nothing seems to work. I did receive an email from my ISP about needing an equipment upgrade; could that be related? Also, when I try to ping the IP address on the modem, it shows 'destination unreachable,' but interestingly, none of the packets are lost. Is it possible that our WiFi was hacked?

Have you tried turning your iPhone off and on again? Sometimes a simple restart can solve connectivity issues!

You might want to forget the network on your device and then reconnect. Sometimes, the configuration can get corrupted, but this trick usually does the job!

It might be that your router reset itself to factory settings. I'd suggest connecting your computer directly to the router with a LAN cable and logging in to check the WiFi settings. You could also try the default password printed on the sticker at the bottom of the router—it might just work!

I tried using 192.168.100.1 because that's the default access, but I get a 'This site can’t be reached' error. Any suggestions?

Is there any other method to log into the router? I'm not very tech-savvy.
