Why can’t I install Windows on my drives after a factory reset?

I recently factory reset my PC with an ASUS motherboard. Normally, I use the Windows reset method, but I wanted to try ASUS's method this time, which I think ended up deleting Windows altogether. I created two bootable USB drives using my MacBook to reinstall Windows. However, when I reach the installation screen, I can't see my two M.2 SSDs listed as options. How can I resolve this issue?

You should try changing your drive settings from RAID to AHCI in the BIOS. This fix has helped many in similar situations, and it’s worth checking out.

I think that was my issue too, so thanks for the suggestion!

Check out this guide on installing RAID drivers, it might have what you need to get your drives recognized during the installation.

Believe it or not, I actually got my setup to work using the ASUS method! I had to ensure the Intel Rapid Storage drivers were installed. So grateful for the tip!

It’s not uncommon for factory resets to cause issues. A clean install is usually better. You might need to download the Windows preinstall storage drivers to see your SSDs properly, but without info on your hardware, that's as much as I can suggest.
