Why Can’t I Send My Downloaded Images or Videos on Reddit?

I've been downloading various images and videos from sites like Reddit and e621, but I'm facing an issue where they won't show up in my gallery when I try to post them on Reddit. For instance, anything I download from Reddit itself isn't letting me send it back, and photos taken with my camera also disappear from the upload options. I really want to share what I've found on e621, but I'm stuck as a lot of that media won't show up either. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

Have you tried using the crosspost feature instead? It could be a workaround to share content you like without relying solely on the upload function.

It sounds like you might have restricted Reddit's access to your photo library. This is a common setting on iOS, though I'm not sure about Android. If you're on iOS, you can check by navigating to Settings -> Apps -> Reddit -> Photos/Images.

Can you explain what you mean by "resend"? Are you saying that when you try to upload an image, it just doesn’t appear in the selection window? That might help narrow down the issue.
