I recently switched to a new HD 720p camera because my laptop's built-in one always puts me at an awkward angle. The new camera is from Trust, and while it's positioned on top of my monitor, it's still pretty close to my face. I can only see the top half of my head when I use it. I mainly use this camera with MS Teams, but when I go to Settings > Devices > Video settings > Open camera settings, the zoom option is greyed out. Is there a way to zoom out in MS Teams, or is this setting deliberately disabled by design? My laptop is quite secured, so I won't have issues with third-party software.

Honestly, a lot of Trust cameras don’t come with optical zoom features. You might want to just adjust the camera’s position so your entire face is in the frame instead.
Have you tried opening the camera app on your PC? Does it behave the same way as in Teams?
It sounds like you might be dealing with a driver issue. I'd recommend checking the manufacturer’s website for the latest software driver for your camera. Given that your PC is locked down, you might not have the permission to download and install new software. If you can access Device Manager, you could try right-clicking your camera under the Cameras section and selecting uninstall. Then rebooting your PC to reinstall the current driver may help!
Thanks, I'll give that a shot!

I just checked, and it looks the same. There’s no option to zoom out there either. I also tried lowering the quality from 1080p to 240p, but that didn’t change anything.
