My friend's PC has suddenly stopped allowing any games to be launched. Last night, he plugged in his VR headset to charge, and this morning, he found that none of his games will start. He tried using the Windows repair tool, but it didn't work. Also, he attempted to reinstall Windows 11 using the cloud method after rebooting with Shift+Restart. Do you think the problem could be related to software, or would a complete fresh install of Windows 11 via a USB drive solve his issue? I don't have the specs of his PC to provide additional context.

It sounds like something's really gone wrong here. Without more details, I'd guess the storage might be the issue since none of the games are launching. He should try booting up the PC with only the mouse and keyboard plugged in and see how it behaves then.

I tried asking him about his setup, but he’s more focused on getting a fresh Windows 11 install done. Who can blame him, though, right? It's super frustrating!
