Why can’t Windows 11 detect my M.2 NVMe SSD when the BIOS can?

I'm having trouble installing Windows 11 because it doesn't recognize my M.2 NVMe SSD, even though it shows up fine in the BIOS. I'm using a B650M Aorus Elite AX ICE motherboard. Has anyone else faced this issue?

I've had a similar situation after a power outage with my SSD. Unfortunately, I ended up having to buy a new one, but it was strange because both SSDs work, just only one is usable for Windows. In your case, have you checked for power or connection issues? It could also be something to do with the motherboard settings.

It sounds like you might need to install a driver for your SSD. Sometimes, Windows can't detect certain SSDs without the right drivers during installation. Try checking the manufacturer’s website for the latest drivers and pre-load them on a USB flash drive before installing Windows 11.
