I signed up for my AWS Free Tier account back in October or November 2025 and received $100 in free credits. I also earned an additional $80 by completing some exercises. To maximize my credits, I upgraded my account to the Paid Tier so I could use them for 12 months instead of just 6. I was aware of the 'AWS Organization gotcha' and made sure to upgrade my account before working with organizations. However, I just checked, and all my credits are showing as expired. I'm not sure when this happened. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like you might have encountered the AWS Organization-related issue. When you upgrade, it doesn’t guarantee that credits will roll over if you start using organizations afterward. Unfortunately, recovering expired credits can be tricky, but contacting AWS support directly could help clarify your options. Good luck!
Hey there! I was in the same boat when I upgraded to a paid plan. If you're looking for specifics about your credits, check out the AWS Free Tier FAQ for more information on upgrade policies. If you think there's an issue, you might want to reach out to AWS support directly for clarity on your expired credits. They typically can provide insights or help rectify situations like this.
