I've been using my iPhone 13 since January 2025, but just a few days ago, the battery life dropped drastically. It was acting normally, then suddenly it started turning off by itself. Sometimes it shows 98% battery and the next time I turn it back on, it's down to 10%. I'm curious how a phone can go from working well to having issues so quickly. Is there a way to fix this without having to get a new battery, or is that my only choice? I've downloaded some apps recently, like JustPlay, but they don't seem to be consuming a lot of battery according to the usage stats.

It sounds like your phone might have a third-party battery in it, especially if you bought it from a reseller. If that’s the case, a low-quality battery could cause issues like what you’re experiencing. You might need to consider getting a new battery. My iPhone 13 is still at 89% after a year, so I think a replacement could really help you out.
Sounds like the phone might have been refurbished poorly, which could explain the battery draining so quickly. Check if you have a warranty from the company you purchased it from. If not, I'd recommend taking it to a repair shop. They can swap it out with a better battery and usually offer a warranty on their work, like a 12-month guarantee, and you can even extend it for a small additional fee.
I’m going on the app to check right quick.
It doesn’t really show if it has a warranty on it or not.

I bought mine through Visible.
