I started with a single 16GB stick running at 6000MHz, showing a performance of 6000MT/s. Now, I upgraded to two 32GB sticks of the same speed (6000MHz) and enabled XMP, but it only shows 3600MT/s. Did I make a mistake by switching to 32GB modules? They're from the same brand and have identical timings (38-38-38-78), so I expected similar performance. Any insights would be really appreciated!

I need more info to help you out. What exactly is showing 3600 MT/s? Can you check your motherboard specs and see what RAM settings the BIOS reports? Also, if possible, share a screenshot of the memory tab in CPU-Z for further analysis.
*Reply:* My Task Manager is showing 3600 MT/s. I'm using T-Force Vulcan 2x32GB, and my motherboard is an ASRock Z790-C. I can't post screenshots, but in CPU-Z, the DRAM frequency is at 1795.6, and the uncore is fluctuating between 2493 and 4489.
Using two 32GB sticks with a 16GB stick can really mess up dual-channel performance. I recommend you take out the 16GB and just run with the 32GB modules. That way, they should operate at the full XMP speed without issue!
It could be a limitation of your motherboard. Some boards have stricter limits when you add more RAM sticks or change configurations. Make sure to check if your motherboard supports the speed you're aiming for with multiple sticks.
Did you replace your old RAM entirely or did you add the new modules alongside it? Mixing sizes can sometimes lead to unexpected speed drops due to how dual-channel works.
