I had some photos in the "Recently Deleted" folder, and I was certain there were still a few days left to restore them. However, I checked this morning and they're all gone! I can't figure out how this happened. It's possible that I might have accidentally deleted them myself, but could there be other reasons? Is there a chance that someone hacked my phone or is cloning my device? I know storage isn't an issue since I have plenty of it available. Has anyone else experienced this? What are the possibilities?

It sounds like either you or the system might have triggered the deletion. The "Recently Deleted" folder isn't meant for long-term storage, and items can be wiped out pretty quickly, depending on the device and its settings.
I get that it’s frustrating! But if you checked multiple times and they're just not there, I’d really caution against jumping to hacking as the issue. It’s more likely a case of misremembering if you deleted them yourself.
Just to clarify, the "Recently Deleted" folder usually auto-deletes files after a set time. For most devices, this is around 30 days. Even if you deleted photos recently, it’s possible they just got purged when the system cleaned up the folder.
