Hey everyone, I need some help! I recently bought a Tecknet wireless mouse from Amazon and it worked fine all summer. However, once I got to college, it suddenly started saying "low battery" and refused to turn on, even with brand new Duracell batteries. The company sent me a replacement, but it had the same issue right out of the box. I tried other batteries, but no luck. I then switched to a Rii mouse and, after just two days of use, it started flashing red again, indicating low battery. I've used various batteries, and none seem to work. What's going on? Why do all these mice keep failing on me so quickly?

Honestly, have you checked if you have any other battery-powered devices acting up? If even your lamp is dying quickly, it might not just be the mice. Sounds like something's off with the power in your area!
Since you’re in a dorm, maybe ask around to see if other students are having similar issues. It could be a problem with the batteries discharging too quickly. Testing it in different locations on campus might help too!
I’ve had great experiences with Logitech wireless mice. They're a bit pricier, but even their budget options are usually pretty solid. Just a thought!
Have you tried switching the USB port? Or testing it out on another computer? Sometimes it could be an issue with the connection.
Sounds like you might be dealing with some cheap brands that just aren't reliable. It could be bad luck too! Consider getting a mouse from a more reputable brand.

Yeah, I do have that lamp that drains batteries super fast too! It’s so weird. I’m beginning to think it’s not just the mice.
