I'm currently logged into my Apple ID on two devices: a MacBook Pro running Monterey and an iPad Pro. There's also an old Apple TV I mainly use for AirPlay. I don't use any Apple services, like subscriptions or iCloud, so I really just need my devices to work without any fuss. Recently, I've noticed that Apple locks my account every few weeks, sometimes even daily. Each time, I have to go through the trouble of relogging in using my security questions on both devices. To make matters worse, last night I received an email about my Apple ID being locked, but it was surrounded by several strange emails in Thai. I've never been to Thailand, and Apple has all my correct details, so this just feels absurd and frustrating.

It sounds like some VPNs can trigger those re-login requests, even if you’re not actively using one. They might be seeing unusual login patterns. Check to see if your IP address changes frequently, that could be a factor.
Are you using two-factor authentication? If not, relying solely on security questions can sometimes lead to these issues as they might flag any unusual activity, even slight changes.
Nope, just sticking with security questions for now.

I don't use a VPN either, so that's not it for me.
