Hey everyone, I could really use some help figuring out an issue with my Asus TUF FX505GT laptop. I've had it for about 4 to 5 years, and recently I've been experiencing game crashes, particularly in GPU-heavy games. While it performs fine for regular tasks like web browsing and watching videos, some games like Minecraft and Valorant run okay albeit with occasional crashes. However, other games consistently crash just 2 to 3 minutes after launching. The odd part is that it handles benchmarks like Cinebench and Unigine without any problems at all. Here's what I've already tried: reinstalling Windows, reinstalling the display drivers, repasting the CPU and GPU, and even swapping out the RAM, SSD, and display. I'm running out of ideas on what else to check!

What are your temperatures like while gaming? Your CPU and GPU might be overheating, which could lead to crashes, especially in graphically intense games. To check, watch the temps while you’re playing and see if they’re getting too hot.
Have you checked the Event Viewer for any error messages when the crashes happen? It could indicate a motherboard issue or a driver problem. You might find some clues there.
I did check, and it shows Event ID 1000 for the crashes, but the details are all zeros and unknowns. Not sure what that means!
During gameplay, my GPU hits around 71°C and my CPU gets up to 74°C. Are those temperatures too high?
